Friday 13 – Sunday 15 February
Brookie Fest is back, bringing big energy across the Brookie Trail, live music everywhere, packed venues, and plenty of noise.
But if you’re after something a little more relaxed (with space to actually hear the music, chat with mates, and settle in for a few beers), Nomad’s doing its own thing. Three solid days of live music, good vibes, and easy afternoons in the beer garden.
Oh, and it’s Valentine’s weekend too — so whether you’re celebrating, escaping, or just seeing where the day takes you, we’ve got you covered.
Friday 13 February 5–8pm
Skally & The Wags
Kick off the weekend with Skally & The Wags, an acoustic country group known for strong harmonies, heartfelt songs, and genuinely feel-good energy. Rooted in classic country with a warm, stripped-back acoustic sound, their sets are honest, uplifting, and made for easing into the evening.
Perfect for a Friday arvo schooner that turns into a couple more.
Saturday 14 February 6–9pm
Dianne Crips
Saturday night brings Dianne Crips, delivering a refined, jazz-inflected sound with rich harmonies, thoughtful songwriting, and beautifully crafted arrangements. Her music leans soulful and expressive, with clever time-feels and moments that reward sitting back and actually listening.
A great Valentine’s night option if you’re skipping the crowds and choosing something a little more intimate instead.
Sunday 15 February 1–4pm
Gavin Rimmer
Ease into Sunday with Gavin Rimmer, energetic, soulful, and effortlessly versatile. Whether he’s moving through classics or contemporary favourites, Gavin knows how to lift a room without overpowering it. Easy listening when you want it, big moments when the afternoon calls for it.
Cold beers, sunshine, and a slow Sunday pace done right.
